George’s Street, Dublin
A mixed use development including retail, offices and apartments. Situated between two important architectural conservation areas, South Great George’s street and Dublin Castle. The scheme challenged the urban planning of the city and proposed a new public route connecting South Great George’s Street with the castle grounds. Taking clues from the immediate context of Georgian arches, courtyards and pedestrian lanes the development took on a form which enhanced the urban fabric of the city and produced a diverse, contemporary building development for the client.
