Luna, Dublin
Located in the bowels of the Drury Street carpark, Luna is a city centre restaurant unlike no other which reveals its presence to the street only from two long oblong windows which connect the diner to the street and uniquely allow the voyeur to glimpse the activity in this semi subterranean spot.
The sloping exposed concrete waffle slab of the car ramp overhead is a constant reminder of the origin of the space. The dining space carefully juxtaposes luxurious leathers, rough render and dark timber panelling. A visit to the bathroom is an event. A red velvet curtain leads the way to the unisex room laden with character, material richness and atmosphere.
